UX/Front End Developer

UX/Front End Developer

Capsool are offering the chance to work with our team as a UX/Front End developer, either on a project or a longer-‐term internship basis.

Key skills that we like – all of these would be ace but we’re realistic:

  • JQuery
  • JavaScript
  • PHP (Zend Framework)
  • Canvas and HTML5
  • Flash/ActionScript
  • Facebook Open Graph

We’re nice people and we obviously want to meet people who can work on their own, meet deadlines and are willing to roll their sleeves up and get involved.

We want to help you develop as well, so we’ll make sure that we help you meet your project goals at the same time as learning about what it’s like to be at the very beginning of a company like ours.

    Specific Projects:

  1. HTML5 Redevelopment of the Capsool Timeline and Universe
  2. Enhancement of the existing Flash based Capsool Timeline and Universe
  3. Development of an HTML5 embeddable player for Capsool content

Work Experience/Internship

If you’d be interested in working with us on a longer-‐term basis or for your final year project then we’d be really keen to talk to you.

You’ll have the chance to become an integral part of our development team, helping to build the platform at a core level whilst gaining real world experience with a web startup.

Right now, we’re building a social archive for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, so you’ll get to work on that and our core platform.

About Capsool

We are a Manchester based startup focused on extending the temporal web. Using time as an additional dimension, Capsool are creating new ways of interacting with media and your networks.

We think it’s pretty cool, but we would say that. Have a chat with us, we think you’ll agree.

Students – email Richard Eskins if interested.
